Can beginners do the program, or is it intended for more experienced skiers?I tailor the intensity and scope of the program based on your psycho-physical condition, your desires, and needs. Therefore, you can do the program even if you've never been on skis, or if you're preparing for a ski instructor's license.
-
Can I do the program at home, or do I need to go to the gym?You can do it at home or in the gym. At the beginning of the program, you let me know where you plan to work out, and accordingly, you'll receive the appropriate exercises.
-
How long does the program last?Ideally, for a physically active person, the program should last approximately one month. For moderately active individuals, it takes about two months, and for those who have been completely inactive, I recommend a three-month preparation. In reality, the duration of the program also depends on your desires, needs, and commitments.
-
How long are the training sessions? The sessions are designed to last between one hour and one hour fifteen minutes. If it turns out that your training is taking longer, it means it is either too challenging, or that you're taking too long breaks between exercises. In the first case, I will adjust the program, and in the second case, I would advise you to use a timer on your phone for breaks.
-
Can I combine the program with regular gym workouts?Absolutely. You'll tell me your training plan, we'll discuss how to adapt it, and I'll create a program that fits into your existing workouts.
-
Does the program include skiing techniques? No, the program focuses on physical preparation for skiing, and to some extent, mental preparation, but not skiing technique. You'll need an instructor's help for that or perhaps a friend who is a skilled skier.
-
How do you track my progress through the program? It's recommended that you share your feedback at the end of each week through the chat. This will help me assess whether we should stick to the current plan or consider making minor adjustments for the upcoming week. In addition to the feedback via chat, while you're in the program, we can arrange a 15-minute consultation via Zoom. Here I can provide additional explanations, or demonstrations, if needed.
-
Why are ski preparations better than regular gym workouts?Because you're doing exercises that are specifically tailored for skiing, and as a result, you'll be much better prepared than if you were following a general program. Specific exercises are also more fun than the general ones, at least for me. Importantly, when preparing for skiing, you have a clear and very visible goal. You know why you're doing each exercise and therefore can easily find motivation for your training. And, perhaps most importantly, you are well aware that the end of the program brings the long anticipated skiing trip, something you've eagerly awaited since the previous season.
-
How do I communicate with you?You can message me through the chat on the application whenever you like, and I'll do my best to respond within 24 hours. While you're in the program, we can arrange a 15-minute consultation via Zoom. Here I can provide additional explanations, or demonstrations, if needed.
-
Can I do the program with someone else?I don't advise it, but it's possible. I create each program individually, based on your psycho-physical condition, your desires, and needs, which means the program is entirely tailored to you. Another person is likely to have difficulty fitting into that, and their results may be less effective.

What are the advantages of online training? You can organize your time as you like! You can plan to workout at 5, after work, but then change your mind and decide to go home, take a nap, and do your training at 8. When you're doing online training, all the exercises are in your phone. You can watch them as many times as you want, pause the video whenever you want, and pay extra attention to details. Throughout this program, my voice will accompany you during each exercise, offering guidance on what to focus on and highlighting common mistakes to watch out for. Don't worry; you can always mute me if you want.
-
What are the disadvantages of online training?Motivation. A significant number of people don't need a trainer for the workout; what they need is they need a motivational dictator who'll be there to ensure that they don't skip a training session or slack off during it. People in the SkiPrep program usually don't face this problem because the thought of skiing, which they've been eagerly waiting for since the previous season, serves as sufficient motivation. The other disadvantage relates to people who have never tried any form of exercise. I would advise them to start with a live training session with a trainer in order to become familiar with the movements and how to perform them.
